The development is designed to a strict energy saving criteria. In accordance with design principles the buildings will produce at least 10% less carbon than similar buildings.

The scheme is targeted to achieve a BREEAM accreditation of very good.

The units will be constructed with minimal air permeability, heat recovery pumps, highly efficient lighting and photovoltaic (PV) roof panels to the southern elevation of the warehouse roof.
